Anthony Walker is, I humbly submit to you, one of the areas best singer/songwriters and I’m also fortunate enough to count him among my oldest friends. This is my cover version of a song from his EP ‘The Sea Goes on Forever’ called I Hope This Helps. For me, Ant, it really does.

I post this now on Veterans Day with more than one in mind who have told me of when they ‘were wounded in battle…lost, confined’ and wanting to turn back time. I’ve lost a friend to PTSD. U.S. Army Sgt. Coleman S. Bean died on Sept. 6, 2008. Subsequently, I feel very strongly that there should be more effective and varied treatments for our veterans. The battle does not end when they are discharged. We can all, in our way, give back to veterans today and tomorrow and my gift is song. So, to all the vets out there, I hope this helps.

Here is Coleman’s story. RIP.
